Architectural lighting meets tactile relaxation zones
For VOCO's appearance at the IDS, we brought a piece of the North Sea coast to the heart of the bustling Cologne exhibition hall – implemented across two independent booths. A panoramic beach view featuring authentic beach grass, a warm "MOIN.", and an open, bright architecture offer a delightful contrast to the vibrant energy of the world’s largest dental trade fair. One booth invites visitors to arrive and relax with its comfortable lounge and catering, while the other provides an ideal setting for product presentations and focused professional discussions. Both booths share a unified design language, making the brand’s Northern German heritage tangible while showcasing the products with clarity and precision.
Two stands, one warm "MOIN"
A piece of the coast as an anchor amidst the vibrant trade fair activity. To present VOCO at the IDS in an unmistakable way, we chose the brand’s Northern German home as the leitmotif – and consistently implemented it across two independent stands. Instead of purely functional spaces, visitors are greeted by a vast beach panorama, framed by natural dune grass and a friendly "MOIN." – a welcome that immediately establishes presence and makes the brand approachable and personable from the very first second. The architecture underscores this soothing contrast: the calm and vastness of the coast on the outside, the clear precision of the product presentation on the inside. This turns brand communication into a special experience – inviting for the initial contact and optimally focused for professional expert discussions.
Space for encounters and conversation
A trade fair appearance thrives not only on product presentation but on the people who come together. The open lounge and catering area deliberately invites visitors to linger: casual seating groups in front of the beach panorama, an inviting bar with a wooden slat front, and an atmosphere characterized by plenty of daylight create a setting where conversations arise naturally. Here, the Northern German warmth of the brand becomes tangible – as a place where visitors arrive, take a deep breath, and feel welcome.
