We want to be as flexible as our multi-tool! That was the fundamental task those responsible at Leatherman approached us with.
No sooner said than done, and so we developed a new exhibition stand idea for the tool professionals from Oregon that is as flexible and modular as their own products.
Furthermore, the brand's new corporate design was also to influence the modular stand concept in order to ensure consistent use across all trade fairs.
Leatherman has been the epitome of the multi-tool and the leading worldwide provider of multi-function tools since 1980.
At outDoor 2019 in Munich, the company presented itself not only with a new corporate design, but also with a new exhibition stand idea.
The terms modular, structured, and flexible perfectly describe the new exhibition stand idea. With the help of a flexible furniture and room system, the multi-tool experts from Oregon can create a consistent brand world at every trade fair location and on any stand space, where all trade fair visitors can test the exhibited Leatherman products directly at the stand.
Special focus is placed on the new Leatherman Free product series. This features a specially designed back wall intended to evoke a magnetic field.
The highlight of the new Free series is that a magnetic system now enables one-handed opening of the tool, literally creating a new sense of freedom when using it.
Furthermore, backlit graphic panels featuring selected brand key visuals create an atmosphere that makes you want to pull out your Leatherman and plunge into the next adventure.
A special highlight at the trade fair in Munich was the head of the company and inventor of the multi-tool, Tim Leatherman, at the stand. He not only signed tools for die-hard Leatherman fans, but was also available for photos and small talk with all interested stand visitors.
The next joint trade fairs are already on the agenda for the coming year. Thanks to the flexible stand concept, nothing stands in the way of the sustainable use of the individually designed modules, and thus we can rightly say that the exhibition concept is as flexible as a Leatherman.
"There is a fine line between perseverance and the inability to accept reality." (Tim Leatherman)
You have the vision. We bring it to life.
