"Precision in the Third Dimension"
Brand and Exhibition Stand Design for the Citizen Group
When showcasing precision engineering, a trade fair appearance must radiate the same level of excellence as the product itself. For the Citizen Group, we created a visionary statement at Inhorgenta 2026 in Munich. The booth design demonstrates impressively: Celebrating technological milestones such as 50 years of Eco-Drive requires spaces that make complex mechanics visually tangible and seamlessly translate the brand's core technology into an elegant architectural form.
That was our guiding principle for the 50th anniversary of Eco-Drive technology—the system that powers watches through light energy and makes battery changes obsolete.
With this concept, we translated the brand's technological focus into a custom-made stand design.
The presentation demonstrated how exhibition construction unleashes its full power—as a physical extension of the product that literally draws the viewer into the interior of the watch.
WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF PRECISION WATCHMAKING
Our workshops realized a multi-level, custom-made acrylic glass construction for this appearance. With precisely set, green-illuminated edges, this central display masterfully brought the anniversary watches to the forefront.
The architectural highlight lay in the harmonious interaction with the spatial graphics: The round, transparent levels of the display case corresponded exactly with the structure of the large-scale exploded view of an Eco-Drive World-Time movement on the back wall. Thus, the two-dimensional graphic was fluidly translated into a three-dimensional presentation object.
Beyond this highlight, we focused on clear structures and orientation. A dominant, massive ceiling cube with perfectly tensioned backlit fabrics elegantly unified the group's various brands – such as Accutron and Bulova – and ensured an impressive long-range effect in the exhibition hall.
The timepieces rested in flush-integrated glass display cases. Thanks to the minimalist design without visible frames and the use of daylight-like illumination, the focus remained entirely on these masterpieces of precision engineering.
With this presentation, we underscored how skilled craftsmanship effectively highlights a brand’s aesthetics and technical values. Visitors were able to experience the multifaceted nature of Citizen technology directly within the space through our thoughtfully designed booth.
This trade fair appearance was far more than just a presentation area. It was a living testament to our philosophy:
We create spaces that make complex technologies tangible, present products perfectly, and impressively reflect the high precision of a brand.
